Boston 210421 at AWL Shelter Road This gorgeous boy is 2 year old Staffy, Boston. He has such a lovely nature and is rather cheeky and outgoing!! He went to the beach with our wonderful volunteers, and rushed off into the water and doggy paddled around! He loves riding in the car and mingling with all his other canine friends. Wolf 211140 at AWL Shelter Road Wolf is 8 months young, a mix of Aussie Kelpie and Cattle dog. He's been described as a lovely, gentle boy that enjoys his walks. He likes to keep an eye on his handler when out and about and looks to them for instruction. Once he gets to know them..he loves the company of other dogs, but does not like it when they rush up to meet him. I had my first outing to the beach today..It was beautiful and I was a very good boy (I overheard the nice people say so!) They gave me treats and we walked with our toes in the squishy sand and had a little frolic in the sea! Martini 211280 at AWL Shelter Road Martini anyone??! This gorgeous girl is an Aussie Cattle cross German Shepherd, aged 3 years old. She arrived a stray, but seems to have had some obedience training and can obey commands with or without treats. She would be great at agility and plenty of activity each day. Rip 301076 at AWL Shelter Road Rip is such a cutie!! He's a lovely young (6 month) mix of Aussie Cattle dog and German Shepherd. His all time favorite thing to do is eat..but a close second is swimming!! He loves to paddle around, so a long leash would be great for this (regular beach trips are a must!!) She was a stray so sadly we don't know her history but our wonderful volunteers have a bit to say about her: "She's very friendly, highly sociable, affectionate and calm. Kelsey is very clever and can "sit" with our without yummy treats! She is great to walk with on leash, but she does have a fascination with chasing birds.. Tyson is still just a pup but is a very sensible boy. With continued training he will flourish into a wonderfully obedient companion. He loves other dogs and his human friends and would be a very loyal and affectionate friend.
