After the success of the last $49 cat sale in February the Animal Welfare League of Queensland are hoping to rehome lots more adult cats in another promotional sale.

From the 9th to the 15th of April all adult cats at the AWLQ three rehoming centres will be just $49.

The AWLQ’s three shelters are full to the brim with cats and kittens and are unable to take in more strays and surrenders until their current animals are re homed.

AWLQ’s Marketing Manager Brooke Whitney says all breeds of cats from 1 year and up will be less than half price.

“The public will be able to adopt an adult cat that has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed from our Ipswich, Beenleigh or Gold Coast shelters for just $49,” she says.

“We hope this promotion will re home lots of adult cats who have been at the shelter for far too long and deserve to be in a home with people that love them”, she says.

“Because we have so many kittens (due to unwanted litters from un-desexed cats) our adult cats are often over looked, we are hoping this promotion will give them an added boost in finding a new home,” Ms Whitney says.
