Pilot is jetsetting off to his new home after waiting three months at the Animal Welfare League QLD

Pilot caught the eye of a TAFE student who’s class had dropped in to the Gold Coast Rehoming Centre for a tour as part of their studies in animal care.

When she walked past Pilots cage he caught her eye due to the resemblence Pilot had to her mothers dog that had recently passed away. She immediately phoned and sent photos to her mum who eagerly agreed.

Her mum Donell decided to pay Pilot a visit the very next day and brought her Husky Zelda to meet her potential new brother

When Zelda and Pilot met they bounced around the yard playing and leaping. They enjoyed each others company so much Donell decided that Pilot would be coming home with them.

Pilot will call Murwillumbah home and enjoy a 25 acre property much to his delight.
