I went to AWLQ to volunteer for the cats, thinking I was safe, as I thought of myself more of a dog person as I had a Cavoodle, (no I came home with a kitten,)
I lasted 5 weeks but this day after cleaning the cats pens, I went and sat with the younger cats to give them some loving, and this 4 month old kitten called Duke came up to me and would not stop purring and talking to me, every time I’d put him down he would just get back up and purr louder.
He adopted me!
He is now called Shahrukh, and my dog ”Bunny” are the closest of friends.
He is a beautiful boy, and I have so much gratitude that they share my life.
