Yes. The Animal Welfare League occasionally care for both pure-bred kittens and puppies. However, it is more common for us to see pure-bred animals when they are around 1 year old which is the prime time for people to tire of them and want another kitten or puppy!
No, because we simply receive far too many requests. If you are after a particular breed, you need to check our rehoming centre regularly as they are rehomed on a 'first come, first served' basis.
No.
No. We do not have the space available for boarding. See your Yellow Pages for listings of commercial boarding kennels and catteries. Always visit them prior to making a booking.
Once checked up for sale, our animals remain for sale for as long as it takes for that perfect home to come along! We do not ever euthanase them on the grounds of taking too long to sell, because we all bond with them and fall in love with them too!

Traveling along the M1, take Exit 62 and drive straight along past the entrances for Westfield and Helensvale, through three sets of traffic lights and we are the next left, which is Shelter Road. One km along Shelter Road, you will see our buildings on your right.
Yes, all animals sold by the Animal Welfare League are both desexed and microchipped, even the kittens and puppies.
Yes, please do! In fact, if you do have another dog, we want you to bring that dog into the neutral area that we have so that they can meet and we should all have a clear indication of whether they will be suitable together. If you have children, it's a good idea to do the same when selecting an animal from us.
Cash, Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS only.
Sorry, no cheques, Diners or AMEX.
