Polly want a cracker? No, Birdie want a home. Hi there, my name is Birdie and I'm looking for my new forever family to love me for the rest of my days. I'm a young mother who, despite falling on hard times, hasn't let my experience on the streets get me down. And now that my little ones have flown the coop, it's time for me to spread my wings and fly into the hearts of a family of my own. I'm a very affectionate girl who isn't afraid to make herself at home on your lap. I adore pats, cheek rubs and little scratches on that feel-good spot right behind my ears. Pet me there and watch my face turn to bliss! I also like to look my best, so don't be surprised if you often see me preening. Although my coat is sleek and short, I still enjoy a good brush and will even return the favour and groom you back. You won't hear a cheep out of me. I'm as quiet as they come and because I prefer an easy, relaxed way of living, I would love to have a calm home without any young children around. While I was a good mother to my kittens, this little bird prefers to fly solo, so I would very much appreciate being the only fur-baby of the house. Are you the ones who can give this pretty Birdie the home of her dreams? Come on down to Ipswich AWL Rehoming Centre and let me soar into your lives and your hearts.
