Learn more about Luke

Luke here! You might not think it, but I'm very much still a kitten at heart. I may be a year old but to me, there's no better way to spend my days than running, chasing and pouncing on toys to my heart's content. I would really love it if my forever home was filled to the brim with balls, strings and cat towers to keep me happy and entertained all day long. But as much as I love my playtime, I'm also big on my cuddles too. Once I've had my fill of fun, I'll more than happily curl up on the lap of my favourite person and purr myself to sleep. I've done my time in a household with other kitties and don't really mind their company, so if you're after a friend for your current feline, I'm the boy for you! My confident and friendly nature also makes me a great match for children of all ages. So what are you waiting for? Your new BFF is waiting for you at the Ipswich AWLQ Rehoming Centre. Come down and meet me today!

Help AWLQ continue to care for homeless animals like me...

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal’s profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn’t been marked as ‘adopted’, the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
