Hi, I’m Mickey!
I’ve been staying in foster care while I waited for my forever family, and now I’m ready to find my forever home.
My foster mum calls me her handsome, sensitive little panther. I might be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I’m an incredibly loving boy. I adore gentle pats, chin scratches, kisses and cuddles, and I’ll happily return the love with sweet headbutts and soft whisker tickles.
One of my favourite parts of the day was helping my foster mum with her morning and bedtime stretches. I’d gently stretch out my paw and tap her feet, just to make sure I was included. It became our special little routine, and I’d love to share moments like that with my forever family.
Because I’m a sensitive soul, I’ll need a quiet room of my own when I first arrive home. Having a safe space where I can settle in at my own pace will help me feel secure and build my confidence. Once I know I’m safe, my affectionate personality shines through.
I shared my foster home with another cat, Minnie, and really enjoyed having her around. If you already have a calm, placid cat, I think I’d enjoy having a gentle feline friend to keep me company.
I’m looking for a calm, quiet home with a gentle person or couple who will be patient and understanding. I’d be happiest in a home without children, as loud noises and busy households can be overwhelming for me.
