Hi, my name is Coconut!
I have been waiting
41 DAYS for a home

Learn more about Coconut

Are you ready to fall in love? Because Coconut is ready to bust out of the shelter and straight into your heart and home. This lovely girl found herself at AWLQ through no fault of her own, she got herself a little lost and no one went looking for her. This hasn't broken her spirit, her fun loving and gentle spirited personality still shines through! Coconut came into our care with a pre-existing eye condition which requires life long management through medication applied in the eyes twice daily along with keeping on top of regular vet checks to make sure that she remains happy and healthy. Medication for her eyes costs around $32 per fortnight. Coconut enjoys the company of other pooches and would love to share her new home with a four legged friend to hang out with. Coconut is available via expressions of interest so please email through some information about your family, property and other animals to goldcoastmanager@awlqld.com.au and we'll be in touch! She can't wait to meet you!

While I’m awaiting my forever home, I’m being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Help AWLQ continue to care for homeless animals like me...

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal’s profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn’t been marked as ‘adopted’, the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
