Our special little lady, Twinkle, is looking for a very specific home to call her own. She's been with us for quite some time raising her pups, and now that they've all found their forever homes, it's her turn! Twinks is a beauty of a Kelpie, no doubt about it. She loves to engage in flirt pole games, and is a quick study when it comes to fun training games. She is a Kelpie after all, so she's got the smarts. Here's the thing though - she's acquired a bit of a unique noise phobia. She gets herself into a bit of a twist over high flying overhead jet planes. So, we're looking for her to go into a home where there's not a lot of air traffic, and is generally pretty quiet on the traffic front. We're also looking for people who are willing to continue working with her on overcoming her fear, especially because, at its worst, she can become fearful of the great outdoors. She's in foster care, and has demonstrated that she can make progress towards overcoming her worries, but she will need a calm, patient, supportive person to continue with her. If you think you could be that special someone for Twinks, please give us a call. We'd love to chat with you about this extraordinary girl!
While I’m awaiting my forever home, I’m being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!
