Learn more about Corduroy

Hello, I am Corduroy, your new three-legged pal! I came to the Gold Coast shelter as a stray, searching for a new home to help me with my journey. I love to meet new people, so don't be shy to come say hello. Yes, I do have a missing leg, but don't you worry, I make up for it with all my love I have to give! I am a sociable young guy who loves to make friends, whether that is with other dogs or humans. A bit about myself. I am full of energy and joy, making me a perfect new addition to a home that loves to go out and explore. I love to play in the backyard, so a home with a fence and yard to keep me safe a secure would be lovely and most importantly, I am a snuggle bug, so my new people should be aware of the hugs they are about to encounter. If I sound like the guy for you, please come in and meet me today! I'll be the guy with the wagging tail and the smiling face.

While I’m awaiting my forever home, I’m being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Help AWLQ continue to care for homeless animals like me...

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal’s profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn’t been marked as ‘adopted’, the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
