Hi, my name is Samson!
I have been waiting
11 DAYS for a home

Learn more about Samson

Meet Samson, a gorgeous young German Shepherd who is ready to waltz into your life and steal your heart! Samson is in search of his forever home, he's hoping it will be one that is calm but playful and where love and treats are never in short supply. 🏡💖 While Samson waits for his happily ever after, he's let us know a few things on his wish list for his new home ... He would like a warm environment that is caring and understanding of timid dogs, as he can be timid when meeting new people. 🐾 He'd appreciate going home with an experienced dog guardian who has knowledge, understanding and love for the German Shepherd breed. 🐕 He's also hoping that it will be an active household who will take him out and about for daily adventures and keep his brain busy with mental enrichment and positive reinforcement training. 🏆 If your home sounds like what Samson has in mind, make sure to come in and say hello today! If you have children or another friendly dog at home, be sure to bring them in as well. 💘

While I’m awaiting my forever home, I’m being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Help AWLQ continue to care for homeless animals like me...

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal’s profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn’t been marked as ‘adopted’, the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
