Say hello to Buddha, a one of a kind Akita looking for a special home to call his own. He is known for his loyalty and devotion - he loves to spend time with his humans friends, whether that is going for sniffy walks and other outdoor adventures, or just some quality time on the couch. 💕 He would like to go home with an experienced dog guardian who has an understanding and love for his breed and will be able to provide him with plenty of attention and mental enrichment to help him thrive. Buddha is a very smart dog who is well trained and has impeccable manners. ✨ Buddha's ideal new home will have a large, secure yard for him to relax and play with his new family in. He will also need to have indoor access so he will have a cool place to retreat in the warmer months. His new family will need to be committed to his weight loss journey which will involve a strict diet and daily exercise to help him become his healthiest self. 🐕 He has grown up in a household with children so if you have experience with the Akita breed and have dog savvy kids at home, bring them in to meet him and see just how wonderful he is for yourself. 🏡
While I’m awaiting my forever home, I’m being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn’t been marked as ‘adopted’, the animal is still here.
Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
