Learn more about Pepper

Meet Pepper, the sweetest little senior citizen you've ever met! Pepper is a special girl looking for an equally special home as she is blind. During her time in foster, we have learnt that she adapts very quickly and once she is familiar with her environment, she can navigate it very well. A single level home without stairs may be best however if you do have stairs, a baby gate may be necessary. It is important for her to find a home where all the humans are over the age of 10 but also one where she isn't likely to get stuck under feet. It is absolutely necessary for Pepper to be an indoor dog with supervised access to outdoors - she's very toilet trained and goes as soon as she is on the grass! She gets along well with other small breed dogs. So if you'd love to give Pepper the perfect retirement home, send through an email to goldcoastmanager@awlqld.com.au - be sure to include info on your property, lifestyle, family and other pets and we'll be sure to get in touch!

While I’m awaiting my forever home, I’m being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

PLEASE DONATE.

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal’s profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn’t been marked as ‘adopted’, the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
