Hi, I’m Candy Cane and I can’t wait to be your Christmas treat!

My friends here at the shelter call me a loveable goofball, a chatterbox and a total shoulder kitty! No surprise there, really. I absolutely adore finding new ways to make people smile; from rolling around to chasing imaginary butterflies, purring as I walk across your shoulders and chirping for attention with my precious little meow – I will never fail to brighten up your day.

My confident and adoring manner makes me the ideal addition to all households, big or small. I haven’t had much experience around other kitties before but with my young age and friendly nature, I’d be open to the possibility of having a furry friend. I simply ask for a nice slow introduction so we can get used to one another.

Thinking of adopting a sweetie like me? Then what are you waiting for! I’ll be here at the AWLQ, keen to make your Christmas complete.

Please Note:

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
