90945 Dog
Winston
Neapolitan Mastiff
Male, 3 Years
Foster reason: Awaiting desex

Winston here, lovely to meet ya! My personality is as big as my size and that's why the staff and volunteers here love me to bits. I absolutely love people, they are my most favourite thing, ever. Despite my size, the lap dog life chose me. I love the company of other dogs, I've even made a couple of doggie pals here at the shelter! They can tell I really want to play but my size seems to make them a bit nervous. They need not to be alarmed, I am a big softie, but if going home with another doggie it may be best they are a bigger pooch. It is of importance my new family has had experience with large breed dogs. I will require a walking apparatus and expect me to get a bit goofy and excited when I see humans that I just have to say hello to (everyone, I have to say hello to everyone!) I am very human-orientated, and therefore would benefit from inside access in my new home where I can hang out alongside them and have all the cuddles. I would absolutely love to have kids in my new home to run around with, but it's of importance that they are older kids and that my size will be of no issue, therefore they will need to come and hang out with me at the shelter before I go home with them. I will make a lovely family dog. I am offering lots of cuddles on the couch, sloppy kisses and a whole lotta lust for life. I am currently awaiting foster before I can come back to the shelter to be desexed. Once that's done and dusted, I will then be available for adoption.

Jet
Domestic Short Hair
Male, 6 Years 1 Month 3 Weeks
Foster reason: Eye condition

Hi guys, my name's Jet and I'm a friendly fellow on the look out for a new family to join! I don't mind other cats and dogs, but make sure you introduce the right way. I would also prefer a family with older children. I'm a pretty easy-going boy and will sit around keeping you company while you go about your day! You may notice that I love my food and have been told I need to watch how much I'm eating. If you think you have the perfect loving home for me, please call the Gold Coast Rehoming Centre on 0755099000. The rehoming centre is temporarily closed for general access, but the friendly staff will assist you to hopefully adopt and take me home.

89880 Dog
Jessie
Australian Cattledog
Female, 5 Years
Foster reason: Requires Dental- scale and polish

Meet our sweet girl, Jessie. Jessie was surrendered to the shelter for no fault of her own, and we are on a mission to find her a loving home that she truly deserves. Jessie has had limited experiences in her life, so we are hoping her new family can introduce her to all of the fun things out there and allow her to experience the true capabilities of a working breed. She has the smarts and the wits and she has so much potential! Jessie lived with young kids in her previous home, and we think she'd be perfect for kids in the home although it is best recommended they come along to meet her before going home. Jessie will be best as a single dog in the home, so her family can focus their love and attention on building her confidence and giving her a great start to her new life. She is fine with calm dogs and therefore would do great on pack walks where she can make some doggie friends comfortably. Being a working breed, Jessie would love all things fun such as daily physical activity and some fun puzzle toys for days inside the home. If you are wanting to help a shelter dog who is truly deserving of a brand new life, then Jessie is your girl. Jessie is currently awaiting foster requiring a dental, where she can then be available for adoption.

Meet Boof and Iggy, the ultimate duo. These two are best friends and are looking for their new forever home to live out in each others company. These two have had a difficult past, but we think their future is bright and that their forever family is out there waiting to find them. They have lived with young kids in their previous home, along with cats and poultry. They are also house trained and toilet trained and would love to be invited along inside with their family for snuggles, Iggys favourite thing in the world! They are both also huge fans of toys and playtime. They love to get out and about and love adventures outdoors where they can have fun in the sun and cool off for a swim. They are beautiful well mannered dogs that are looking for a special owner to show them plenty of well deserved love. They are currently awaiting foster for some dental work, where they will then be available for adoption.

Cowboy
Bull Arab
Male, 1 Year
Foster reason: Awaiting desex

Howdy ya'll, Cowboy here. I am a lovely and well mannered fella who absolutely LOVES the company of other dogs and therefore would love a new best paw pal in my home. I love to have a good time and play time is my favourite. I walk beautiful on the leash and would be great for families who are wanting to that new best friend to create new memories with. I am perfectly behaved in my pen and I keep showing the staff how much of a good boy I would be inside a home environment. My listening skills earn an A+ as I'm always looking to my handler to seek out what the next move is. I have such a lovely nature with good looks to match, and I will be sure to win your heart over. I'd make a great family dog, I've heard great things about having kids at home for some play time in the backyard. I am currently awaiting foster for desex and looking for a cosy spot to lie my head while I patiently wait.
