Veterinarians are classified as essential services and continue working under shutdowns currently in operation in Australia, the agriculture minister David Littleproud has said.
Our Community Vet Clinics will remain open with reduced services and changed opening hours. AWLQ has also introduced additional processes to ensure everyone’s health and safety is maintained, including implementing safe distancing practices within waiting and consultation rooms.

We have been made aware of a telemarketing campaign that is currently occurring where the caller will try to solicit funds by claiming to be from Animal Welfare League Queensland or AWLQ.
Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ) does not utilise the services of telemarketing or door-to-door fundraisers for any of our campaigns.
Please be assured that all donations to AWLQ are processed online via our secure payment gateway at www.awlqld.com.au/donate. Please keep this in mind when making a donation, if you are ever unsure call us on 07 5509 9014. Thank you for your continued support!
