DESCRIPTION:Thank you for signing up to become a volunteer at the AWLQ. Our volunteers are such an important part of the AWLQ and we are delighted to have your support.\nAt the bottom of this page\, you will see the registration section to book yourself in for the induction\nAll inductions go from 10.30 am till 2 pm.\nThe format of the day is as follows: \n\nOrientation\, site tour and policy documents\nBYO lunch break.\nTraining and role explanation\n\nPlease be sure to: \n\nWEAR LONG PANTS\nWEAR ENCLOSED SHOES\nBRING WIDE BRIMMED HAT\nBRING YOUR LUNCH AND DRINK\nNO SINGLETS\nWEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING THAT CAN GET DIRTY\nTIE HAIR BACK\, NO HANGING JEWELLERY\n\nOnce this has been completed\, and once a position is vacant\, you will be assigned your first shift and commence as a volunteer!\nIt is a requirement that you can commit to at least regular one 4 hour shift per week and join us for a minimum of 3 months.\nPlease note that there is a $33 induction fee which covers your training and admin costs PLUS you will receive your AWLQ volunteer t-shirt. So you will get to feel part of the team 🙂
