Meet Evie, a beautiful young black cat who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place.

📖 Evie’s story:
Unfortunately, Evie didn’t have the typical start to life that most pet cats enjoy. We don’t know exactly what her early experiences were, but it’s clear that she is still building trust and learning that humans can be friends.

While she has made progress in our care, Evie remains a shy and cautious girl who prefers to take things at her own pace. She isn’t the type of cat who will arrive home and immediately demand cuddles-instead, she needs someone willing to give her the time, patience, and space she needs to blossom.

Evie will likely take a long time to come out of her shell. Building a relationship with her will require patience, consistency, and respect for her boundaries. The adopter she needs is someone who understands that trust cannot be rushed and that the most meaningful bonds are often the ones that take time to grow.
