Shiva is a strapping lad. He has the looks of a lion, but the heart of a kitten. He is very unsure of his surroundings right now and would require a calm and relaxed home to regain his confidence. Shiva has had a bumpy road on the streets and spent some time in the pound. Due to his outdoor lifestyle he has contracted Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV doesn't mean a cat is ill, as cats with the virus may never show signs or symptoms and with proper care, can live for many happy years. We do ask that they remain indoor cats for their own health and safety. The staff know them to be some of our sweetest, smoochiest, most laid back boys and some of our all-time favourites. If you're looking for an indoor cat, it's hard to say no to Shiva.
