Calypso is a beautiful tortoiseshell kitten with a gentle, sensitive nature. She is a sweet girl at heart, but currently quite timid and easily overwhelmed by new people and environments. With time, patience, and a calm routine, she has the potential to slowly build confidence and learn that the world is not such a frightening place.
She would thrive in a quiet, predictable home with a patient adopter who understands that trust will need to be earned at her own pace. Calypso may benefit greatly from the companionship of a calm, confident resident cat who can help her feel more secure and show her the ropes.
Because of her nervous temperament, she is best suited to an adult-only home without dogs or young children. In the right environment, Calypso is likely to blossom into a deeply affectionate companion who bonds closely with those she trusts.
