Learn more about Nyx
Meet Nyx!
Nyx is a soft, gentle female cat who is still learning to feel safe and confident in the world, and she will need a patient, understanding family who can give her the time and space she needs to settle in. When meeting new people, she can be shy and a little unsure, preferring to quietly observe her surroundings rather than approach straight away. She doesn’t immediately seek attention, but with a calm, gentle approach and consistency, Nyx slowly begins to trust-and when she does, her beautiful, affectionate nature starts to shine through.
In those quiet moments where she feels secure, Nyx leans into chin and cheek scratches and shows just how much love she has to give. She is not a cat who will demand attention, but one who offers something very special once a bond is formed: a soft, trusting connection built on patience and kindness.
Nyx would thrive in a peaceful, quiet home where she is allowed to come out of her shell at her own pace. She would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with children aged 13+ who understand gentle handling and respect her space. Nyx may do well with another calm feline companion to help her feel more secure, however she is not suited to living with dogs. For the right home willing to go slowly with her, Nyx will grow into a deeply rewarding and quietly devoted companion.

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.
This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.
Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
