Learn more about Ricky
π Meet Ricky π©ΆπΎ
Ricky is a handsome 5-year-old grey tabby with the sweetest soul. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, he’s a curious boy who loves exploring his surroundings once he starts to feel safe. Watching his confidence grow is incredibly rewarding, and he’s looking for a patient family who will let him settle in at his own pace. π
One thing you’ll quickly learn about Ricky is that he has one absolute favourite possession-his beloved popcorn bucket bed! πΏ It’s the perfect little hideaway, with extra-high sides and a cosy flap where he can retreat when he needs a quiet moment. We think it should definitely come with him to his new home. β€οΈ
Ricky’s wish list: πΎ
π A foster-to-adopt home while we continue supporting him through a treatment plan for some over-grooming.
π‘ A quiet, calm home with no other animals or children, where he can feel safe and build his confidence.
ποΈ A home with a few cat caves, cosy beds, or quiet hiding spots around the house so Ricky has safe places to retreat while he explores and settles in.
π A patient cat parent who will let Ricky set the pace, celebrate the little milestones, and never rush him.
π Someone with experience helping shy cats would be wonderful, but someone who is willing to learn about feline behaviour and support Ricky’s confidence is just as welcome.
Ricky may take a little time to come out of his shell, but once he trusts you, you’ll discover a gentle, affectionate companion who simply wants a safe place to call home. His future foster family will have the opportunity to adopt him once he’s ready. π‘π
Could Ricky be the quiet companion you’ve been waiting for? πΎπ©Ά
