Hi, my name is Kit!

I have been waiting 83 days for a home

Please look at me... I'm still here!

Learn more about Kit

Meet Kit,

Kit is a vibrant, intelligent, and resilient 2-year-old Cattle Dog who is looking for his forever home. Because he has been at the shelter for a while, he is incredibly eager to finally find a family of his own. True to his breed, Kit is loyal, sharp as a tack, and has a whole lot of love to give.

Kit is currently testing positive for heartworm and is actively undergoing treatment managed by the shelter.
What this means for adoption: Kit can absolutely be adopted during his treatment! His future family will just need to ensure he completes his medical regimen.

He will make a phenomenal companion for someone ready to guide him through the final steps of his recovery and give him the couch-time he has been dreaming of.
He loves, loves, loves a game of fetch so if your ready to play, give Kit a warm bed and lots of love, come meet him today!!

While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Please Note:

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
