Meet Kit,

Kit is an extraordinary Cattle Dog with a heart as big as his namesake. Despite a rough start, this “amazing” boy remains a testament to the loyalty and spirit of his breed. He is currently looking for a partner to help him navigate his final hurdle toward a healthy, happy life.

While Cattle Dogs are known for their high energy, Kit’s current health journey has revealed a softer, more contemplative side. He is incredibly affectionate and lives for quiet moments of companionship. While heartworm is a serious condition, it is treatable. Kit’s resilience is inspiring, and once he is through his treatment, he will be a lifelong friend who will never forget the person who stood by him. Having Heartworm, Kit needs to be a single dog so he can enjoy the quieter moments at home.

He’s waiting to give you a lifetime of loyalty in exchange for a little TLC and a comfortable place to nap.
