Meet Rex – a lively young wire-haired dachshund with a big personality and lots of love to give.
Rex is a sweet, people-oriented little dog who thrives on attention and being part of the family. He’s full of energy and character, and will suit an active home that can include him in regular outings and adventures (he prefers quieter environments over busy dog parks).
Rex is quite vocal and loves to express himself, so he’ll need plenty of exercise, enrichment, and companionship to keep him happy and engaged. Being a clever hunting breed, he’ll do best with an experienced owner who understands his needs and can provide structure and guidance.
He’s looking for a single-dog home with secure fencing, where he can soak up all the attention. Rex isn’t suited to a home with children, and while he has previously lived with cats, he may be inclined to chase, so a cautious approach would be needed.
With the right home, Rex will be an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who brings plenty of fun and personality to everyday life.
