Milo is a clever and sensitive Border Collie x looking for a calm, understanding home that can help him continue building confidence at his own pace. This handsome boy forms strong bonds with his people and absolutely thrives when he feels safe, supported, and understood 💙
One thing that is very important for Milo is keeping his name! He responds incredibly well to “Milo,” and maintaining this familiarity will help him continue progressing with his training and settling into a new environment.
Milo will need an experienced owner who understands working breeds and behaviour management, and who can provide clear structure, routine, and ongoing guidance. He is best suited to a quiet, low-foot-traffic home without children, where he can relax and feel secure without too much happening around him 🌿
While Milo prefers to be the only dog in the home, he is happiest when given space and support to navigate the world comfortably. Busy dog parks and off-leash areas are not for him, and he would much rather enjoy peaceful walks and quiet adventures with his trusted humans 🐶
Milo can be wary of unfamiliar people, so introductions will need to be slow, calm, and controlled. With patience and consistency, he continues to make progress and build trust. His future family will need to be committed to continuing his training and long-term management, ideally with the support of a qualified trainer to help him keep succeeding ✨
A large, secure yard is a must for Milo, and he would absolutely thrive in a quieter neighbourhood or even on acreage where he can enjoy space, routine, and reduced stress levels. Like many intelligent breeds, Milo benefits greatly from both physical exercise and mental enrichment to help keep his mind busy and build confidence in positive ways 🧩🎾
