Hi, my name is Chief!

I have been waiting 56 days for a home

Learn more about Chief

Chief is a gentle, soulful boy who is looking for a quiet sanctuary to call home. He is currently super shy and finds the big, wide world a little intimidating right now. Because the shelter environment is a bit too loud and overwhelming for his sensitive soul, Chief desperately needs a patient foster hero to help him decompress and show him that the world isn’t so scary.

Once he knows he is safe, Chief’s sweet, loyal nature begins to shine through. He just needs someone willing to move at his pace. Chief is currently in need of a temporary foster home while the rescue team completes his ongoing medical assessments and treatment.

If you have a quiet home, a big heart, and the patience to help a shy dog blossom while he gets the medical care he needs, Chief would love to meet you. Foster-to-adopt options can be discussed as his medical care wraps up!

While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Please Note:

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
