Big, bouncy, and bursting with personality, Bear is an almost 2-year-old German Shepherd x who is ready to find a home that can match his enthusiasm for life! This handsome boy is all about presence-he walks into a room (or paddock!) like he owns it, with confidence, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart.

Bear is a highly intelligent, food-motivated young dog who absolutely thrives when given something to do. Training sessions? He’s in. Learning new skills? Even better. Snacks involved? Now we’re talking! With the right guidance, Bear has all the potential to become an incredible companion who loves working alongside his people.

True to his shepherd roots, Bear is a strong, powerful boy who will need an experienced handler comfortable managing a large, enthusiastic dog on lead using appropriate walking equipment such as a harness. He’s at his best when given structure, consistency, and clear direction-he genuinely wants to get things right and shine for his humans.

Bear is looking for an active home that can keep both his body and brain busy, with plenty of enrichment, training, and adventures to channel his energy in positive ways.

When it comes to canine friends, Bear can come on a little strong in his greetings and would benefit from a calm, confident female dog companion following a successful meet and greet.
