Hi, I’m Nova 🐾💜

I’m a young working-line Kelpie with a sharp mind, endless potential, and energy to spare ⚡🐕 If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your adventure buddy, training partner, and loyal companion, I might just be your girl!

As a young Kelpie, I need much more than a walk around the block. I’m looking for an active home that can meet both my physical exercise and mental enrichment needs every single day 🌿🏃‍♀️🧩 Whether it’s hiking, training, scent work, exploring acreage, or learning new skills, I thrive when my brain and body are kept busy. Acreage would be ideal for me, and I am not suited to apartment living or small spaces.

I haven’t had a lot of exposure to the world so far, which means some things can still feel a little overwhelming. I can be easily startled and may struggle with new people or unfamiliar situations 😔 Because of this, I need a patient and understanding family committed to ongoing training and confidence building. With the right support, consistency, and positive experiences, I have all the potential to blossom into an incredible companion 🌟

Due to my sensitivity, I am looking for a home with children aged 12 years and over, and all children will need to participate in a successful meet and greet 🫶 I would also need a meet and greet with any resident dogs. I may be suitable as a second dog to a playful, tolerant, and calm canine companion, with a similar breed type preferred, although this is not essential 🐕💕 The right dog could help show me the ropes while respecting my boundaries.

Secure fencing is a must to help keep me safe while I continue building confidence in my surroundings 🏡🐾 Breed experience would be highly valued, as my future family will need to understand the needs of a working-line Kelpie and be committed to providing the structure, training, and enrichment I require.

I may not be the easiest puppy on paper, but for the right home, I will be an incredibly rewarding companion 💜 With patience, guidance, and a commitment to helping me grow, you’ll gain a smart, loyal, and devoted best friend ready to tackle life’s adventures by your side 🐾✨
