3-month-old white Domestic Short Hair kitten 🤍

Much like the famous little house elf, this tiny boy is cautious, wide-eyed, and still learning that humans can be kind 💫
(Although thankfully this Dobby does not require a sock to be free🧦)

Dobby is an incredibly timid and sensitive kitten who needs a very patient, understanding home willing to help him build confidence at his own pace. He is even more shy and fearful than his foster sister Fluffball, and big changes or fast movements can still feel very overwhelming for him.

Because of this, Dobby is looking for:

* 🐱 An experienced kitten/cat owner
or
* 📚 Someone genuinely willing to learn about shy cats, feline body language, confidence building, and how to create a safe environment for nervous kittens

Dobby is not the kind of kitten who will instantly run into your arms – trust with him is something that will need to be earned slowly and gently. But underneath all the fear is a sweet little soul who wants to feel safe 💕

💖 About Dobby

* 🤍 3 months old
* 🐾 White Domestic Short Hair kitten
* 🍗 Absolutely LOVES food
* 🎣 Obsessed with playing with anything and everything
A few favorites are feather wand toys, balls, vertical cat scratchers and his sisters tail
(There is definitely a tiny hunter hidden very deep down in there 😂)
* 👀 Curious about the world but easily startled
* 🛋️ Needs lots of patience, calmness, and reassurance
* 🎾 Will benefit from regular gentle one-on-one play sessions to help build confidence
* 😺 May benefit from a calm, gentle older cat role model
* Will need a lot of dedicating cozy hiding spots and tunnel to retreat to when scared

Like Fluffball, Dobby has met an older cat in foster care and showed interest, but was still very unsure and nervous. Any introductions to resident pets would need to be:

* ⏳ Slow
* 🐾 Carefully managed
* 💕 Focused on helping him feel secure

Dobby would thrive in a quieter home with people who understand that shy kittens:

* Need time to adjust
* Build trust gradually
* Communicate through body language
* Should never be pushed beyond their comfort zone

His future family should be prepared to celebrate the small wins – the first time he approaches for food, plays confidently, or chooses to sit nearby 🥹
