Bolt is a 3-year-old Staffy x Shar Pei with a very gentle, loyal nature. He’s a sweet boy who tends to be a little withdrawn at first and really comes into his own when he feels safe and close to his people. Once he forms a bond, he becomes deeply devoted and thrives on being included in family life.

Bolt gets along well with children and could go home with kids pending a meet and greet. He also enjoys the presence of smaller dogs and puppies, but he is still building confidence around larger or more playful dogs. Because of this, he would be best suited to a home that manages dog introductions slowly and avoids busy dog parks. He may be able to live with a calm canine companion, though he would also be perfectly happy as an only dog where he can soak up attention from his humans.

This boy would do best in a family setting where he is truly part of the household and able to stay close to his people. He is toilet trained, comfortable with indoor/outdoor access, and enjoys car rides. Poor Lady was being given away by people on the side of the road who hadn’t desexed the cat which had an unwanted litter. A lovely passer by took her in as the people said to her that if she didn’t take the kitten, she was just going to be dumped in the bush!
