I’m 12 years old, and if I’m being honest, the shelter is a little scary for me. Everything here is so different from what I’m used to, and sometimes all the noise and activity can make me feel a bit unsure.

What I really want is a home-a quiet place where I can finally relax, feel safe, and know that I’m loved again.

I’m looking for a calm, gentle family who will let me settle in at my own pace. I may need a little time to adjust, but a soft bed, kind words, and patient hearts will help me remember that good things are still ahead.

At my age, I’m not looking for adventure. I’m looking for comfort, companionship, and someone who’ll cherish me through my golden years. I have so much love left to give, and all I need is someone willing to give me a chance.

Meet Boinky! 🐾

Boinky is a sweet, shy little boy with a gentle soul. He can be a bit timid when meeting new people or exploring new surroundings, but with a little patience and kindness, his quiet personality begins to shine.

His favorite thing in the world is gentle pats, and once he feels safe, he’ll happily soak up all the affection you have to give. Boinky is looking for a calm, loving home where he can settle in at his own pace and build trust with his new family.

I’m available for ‘foster to adopt’ which means you get to take me home and love me today, but I’ll need to be returned to the shelter on the 21/7 for my desex surgery, but on the 22/7 you will pick me up and finalise my adoption.

Meet Bucky! 🐾

Bucky is a gorgeous 2-year-old boy with a gentle, loving nature. While he’s finding the shelter environment a little overwhelming, it doesn’t take long to see what a sweet soul he is. He’s eager for gentle pats, affection, and the reassurance of kind people, and he’s sure to blossom in a calm, loving home.

Bucky is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which means you can welcome him home straight away! He’ll just need to come back to the shelter on 13/07 for his desexing surgery, and once he’s recovered, you can take him home for good on 14/07.

Meet Clay 🐾

Clay is an adorable Shar Pei cross with a charming personality and plenty of love to give. This cute little man is looking for a home where he can settle in and enjoy life with his new family.

Clay could happily share his home with a calm, well-mannered female companion who will respect his space and help him feel comfortable. Slow and thoughtful introductions will help set everyone up for success, so if you have a friend for him make sure to bring them in for a meet and greet

Meet Emma 🐾

Emma is a gentle Kelpie cross with a soft, sensitive nature. She may be a little timid when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations, but once she feels safe and trusts you, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through.

Emma is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can build her confidence at her own pace. She would do best as the only dog in the home, as she can feel scared and overwhelmed around other dogs. Emma will thrive with an owner who understands timid dogs and is committed to using gentle, positive introductions to help her explore the world and feel secure. She may not be the dog who rushes up to greet everyone, but she’ll be the one who quietly steals your heart.💕

Meet Spud, a big fluffy potato who’s still a little shy on the outside. Like the best potatoes, he just needs a little time to warm up before his true goodness shines through! Spud is a gentle, sweet boy who prefers to take things at his own pace, but with patience, love, and a cosy place to call home, he’s sure to come out of his shell. If you’re willing to give this lovable spud the time he needs, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal friend for life.

Spud has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV doesn’t mean a cat is ill, as cats with the virus may never show signs or symptoms and with proper care, can live for many happy years. We do ask that they remain indoor cats for their own health and safety. The staff know them to be some of our sweetest, smoochiest, most laid-back cats and some of our all-time favourites.

Tatum is a gentle soul who is looking for a patient and loving family to help him truly shine. While he may be a little shy at first and take some time to come out of his shell, those who are willing to give him that chance will discover an incredibly sweet boy underneath. With patience, understanding, and plenty of love, Tatum blossoms into the big teddy bear he was always meant to be, enjoying affection and companionship with the people he trusts most.

Tatum would thrive in a calm home with adults or older teens (15+) who understand that building trust takes time. He would prefer to be the only cat in the household and is not suited to living with dogs. For the right family, Tatum will be a loyal and rewarding companion, proving that the best friendships are often worth waiting for.
