Tick season is here – protect your pet before it’s too late
4th September 2025
Beano, a 2yo Kelpie cross, was found with an engorged tick on his neck and was displaying symptoms of tick paralysis. He was treated by AES and then transferred to AWLQ's Community Vet Clinic. Thankfully, Beano pulled through. It's a timely reminder that tick season is upon us and prevention is the best course of action.
