Throughout the day, children work through a range of structured, hands-on activities related to the care of companion animals. Children do a combination of small and whole group activities, which includes supervised contact time with our animals. Children also have the opportunity to get a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the AWLQ Animal Rehoming Centre.

Children receive a ‘take-home’ pack at the end of the day that includes a sticker, colouring sheets and magazines. The number of children in the program is capped at a maximum of 30 per day, so as to allow for small group activities.

Bookings are essential! To enrol in the Animal Antics Activities Day simply find which dates are available and follow the prompts to register. The program is extremely popular, so we recommend getting in as early as possible to avoid disappointment!
