Kitten Neonate Care Training for Willawong Foster Carers

Calling all Willawong foster carers! Whether you’re new to fostering or looking to refresh your skills, this in-person training course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence needed to care for neonatal kittens.

At the Animal Welfare League Qld, we know that caring for neonate kittens requires special knowledge, care and attention. That’s why we’re offering an in-person training course for our dedicated Willawong foster carers. Join us for this essential session that will cover everything you need to know to give the best care to neonatal kittens in your foster care.

Time: 10:00 AM (the session will be approximately 2 hours)

What to Expect:

  • Feeding and Toileting Demonstration
    Learn the correct techniques for feeding neonate kittens and how to manage their toileting needs to support their healthy development.

  • Kitten Neonate Care Basics
    We’ll walk you through the essential aspects of neonate care, from how to safely handle newborn kittens to ensuring their environment is comfortable and safe.

  • Identifying Concerns
    Discover the most common health and behaviour issues in neonate kittens and learn what signs to look out for, so you can respond quickly and appropriately.

There will also be a Q&A Session where you can have your questions answered by our experienced staff. Whether it’s about feeding schedules, common concerns, or other aspects of kitten care, this is your chance to get expert advice.

This training will provide you with the confidence and skills to care for neonatal kittens, giving them the best chance at a healthy, happy life.
