AWLQ YOUR HEART, THEIR HOPE CAMPAIGN MATCHED GIVING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions – AWLQ Dollar Match  (“Promotion”) 

  1. Entry into the AWLQ Matched Funding Promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. Information on how to participate in the Promotion forms part of these Conditions of Entry. The Promotion is run by Animal Welfare League Queensland (“Promoter”). This Promotion is a digital fundraising incentive only and does not require or involve participation in any physical activity.
  2. The Promotion commences at 23rd June 2026 at 6AM and closes at 30th June 2026 12:00AM, or earlier if the Total Promotion Pool of $40,000 is fully exhausted (“Promotion Period”).
  3. Entry is open to all individuals making a donation via the official AWLQ online fundraising platform. Eligibility for the dollar match is determined by valid donations received during the Promotion Period.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or otherwise improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  5. Eligible participants will receive a dollar match for each valid donation received via the official online fundraising page during the Promotion Period.
  6. The total promotion pool is valued at $40,000 (Total Promotion Pool).
  7. Eligible donations received during the Promotion Period will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Donor, subject to the Total Promotion Pool not being exceeded.
  8. Calculations will be conducted at the time of donation and then verified on 1 July 2026 at the AWLQ office.
  9. Donor dollar match, not exceeding the Total Promotion Pool in the aggregate, will be visible on the campaign fundraising page at the time the donation is made.
  10. Eligible donations must be received by the Promoter within the Promotion Period (23-30 June 2026). Eligible donations are deemed to be received upon completed donation. Records of the Promoter are final.
  11. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into, including in the event of a dispute.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity of entries and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process.
  13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liability incurred as a result of participating in the Promotion. Donors will receive a tax receipt for their personal contribution only; the matched portion is not tax-deductible for the individual donor.
  14. The Promoter has no control over internet or mobile telecommunications, network lines, bugs, viruses or server problems, and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, for whatever reason.
  15. Any entry that is lodged by automatic, repetitive, robotic, programmed or similar methods will be deemed void as determined in the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
  16. By participating in the Promotion, entrants consent to the Promoter collecting, storing and using their personal information for the purpose of administering the Promotion, in accordance with the AWLQ Privacy Policy. If an entrant does not provide the required information, the Promoter may be unable to administer their participation in the Promotion.
  17. Communication 17.1. If you do not want to receive further communication from the Promoter (other than information that relates to this service), please contact our team via the contact details provided on our website. 17.2. If you have any questions about privacy, including updating and/or changing personal information or obtaining a copy of the Privacy Policy, please contact the Promoter directly.
  18. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as intended, including due to computer virus, mobile or system failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which, in the Promoter’s opinion, affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter may, subject to any applicable law, cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right, subject to any applicable law, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion if required due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control or to ensure the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion.
  20. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
