Hi, my name is Mia!

I have been waiting 21 days for a home

Learn more about Mia

Hello, I am Mia!

Some would describe me as super sweet with a little bit of spice. I, on the other hand would, prefer to describe myself as discerning with high standards. A kitty-cat who knows what she wants. I like to be the one who decides when it’s time for pats and when I do, you’d better be ready to give me all the love that I want! I’ll make no secret of the fact that I’m keen for a cuddle, but will also be sure to let you know when I’ve had enough and want some independence.

What I want most in life is a quiet home where I can kick back, relax and satiate all my curiosities. No children or boisterous pets please – I’d like to enjoy my ‘me time’ in comfortable calm and bliss, with my favourite adult companions to share it with.

If you’re after a sassy companion, come down to the AWLQ Rehoming Centre today and say g’day!

While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Royal Canin, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Please Note:

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
