Meet Mackie, a gentle soul with a heart as big as his paws. This nearly 3-year-old Mastiff x Wolfhound mix is a sweet and sensitive boy who’s looking for a calm, patient home to help him blossom.

Mackie can be a little shy at first and may take some time to adjust to new environments, but once he feels safe, his loving and affectionate nature starts to shine. He enjoys the company of his humans and would thrive in a home where he has indoor access and can spend quality time with his family while still having the space to enjoy a bit of independence.

He’s a strong boy, so walking him with a harness is a must-but don’t worry, he’s worth every step. Mackie is playful with other dogs, so a doggy sibling could help him build confidence and bring out his fun side. A meet-and-greet is recommended if you’re planning to introduce him to another pup or children, as Mackie appreciates slow introductions and respectful boundaries, especially around young ones.

Mackie would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of enrichment and mental stimulation to keep that big brain happy and engaged.
