Learn more about Caesar
Caesar is a striking 6-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a mind that loves to work. Originally adopted from AWL as a teenager, Caesar has sadly found his way back to us due to his previous owner no longer having the time he needs. Now, he’s ready to find a forever home that understands the unique needs of this intelligent and active breed.
What Caesar Needs:
German Shepherds thrive on both physical exercise and mental enrichment – and Caesar is no different. He’ll do best with someone who has experience (or is eager to learn) about the breed’s drive and energy. Long walks, training games, puzzle toys, or even scent work will help keep him happy and balanced.
Training & Temperament:
Caesar is currently working on his manners, especially keeping all four paws on the ground when excited – for this reason, we recommend a home with older children who are comfortable around larger, enthusiastic dogs. He’s eager to learn and thrives with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement.
Doggy Social Skills:
Caesar can be social with calm and well-mannered dogs, but he may become frustrated or reactive with overly excitable or dominant canine companions. He’ll need slow introductions and would do best with a neutral or submissive dog friend, or as the only pet in the home.
Ideal Home:
Caesar is best suited to an active, patient adopter or family who can give him structure, stimulation, and affection. He’s incredibly loyal and has so much love to give – he just needs the right person to share it with.

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.
This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.
Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
