Learn more about Rowan
Hi, I’m Rowan – your future adventure buddy, shadow, and professional cuddle monster! I might be a deaf 4-month-old Border Collie, but trust me, that doesn’t slow me down one bit. If anything, it just makes me more determined to live life BIG. I’m ready to explore everything the world has to offer, from crunchy leaves to new walking trails to cosy cuddles on the couch after a big day out.
Because I can’t hear, I use my voice a little more to get your attention – just my happy way of saying, “Hey! I’m here and I’d love some love!” I absolutely adore my food (it’s my passion), which makes training fun, simple, and super rewarding for both of us. I’m a clever little guy who thrives on enrichment and learning new things.
I’m hoping for a confident, calm doggy friend who can show me the ropes – how to play, how to explore safely, and how to make the very best doggy choices. I’d also love a human who has experience with deaf dogs and wants to help me continue growing into the amazing dog I’m meant to be.
I know I deserve the best life… and I can’t wait to live it with you by my side.
While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Please Note:
Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.
This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.
Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
