Learn more about Tweety

Meet Tweetie – a bright young budgie with a big personality!
Tweetie is a juvenile male who has spent some time in foster care to help him reach a healthy weight – and he’s now feeling great. He’s a confident little observer who loves keeping an eye on everything happening around him.

Before coming into our care, Tweetie’s wings were cut very short, which means he is currently unable to fly and will fall to the ground when he tries. As his feathers grow back he may regain flight, but this can’t be guaranteed. For his safety, he’ll need a spacious indoor enclosure rather than an outdoor aviary.

Tweetie isn’t tame and prefers not to be handled, so he’s best suited to a home where he can be enjoyed for his cheerful presence without the expectation of physical interaction. He is currently living on his own, so he’ll need at least one friendly budgie companion in his new home.

This sweet boy is ready for a caring household that can offer him space, safety, and the company of other budgies. With the right setup and plenty of kindness, Tweetie will thrive.

Tweetie is not in our aviary, he’s living it up in his wonderful foster home so if you’re interested in adopting Tweetie, please email [email protected] and we’ll be in touch!

Please Note:

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
