Learn more about Earl

Hi humans, my name is Earl.

I’m a shy boy who’s looking for a second chance in life. The harsh streets didn’t treat me well and my experiences may have left me with a scar or two, though I’m happy to say it did not break me! My heart might be timid but it’s not closed to love – in fact, my friends here at the shelter say I’m a real sweetie once you get to know me. I love my pats, especially being stroked on that wonderful spot right below my chin. There’s nothing better than getting to spend my days curled beside my favourite human while they gently rub my chin until I fall to peaceful slumber.

Because of my more timid nature, a quiet and calm home would be better suited for me. I’m not interested in sharing the household with young children or boisterous dogs, and would instead feel much more comfortable with one or two adult humans who will show me the gentle love and patience I need to keep growing my confidence.

Have you been thinking about giving a second chance to a kitty in need? Look no further than me.

While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Royal Canin, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Please Note:

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
