Hi, my name is Pixie!

I have been waiting 49 days for a home

Please look at me... I'm still here!

Learn more about Pixie

* Pixie is enjoying temporary accommodation in a loving foster home. If you’d like to arrange to meet her, please call the Warra Rehoming Centre on 07 3631 6800. *

Pixie is a gentle, sensitive girl who’s learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She’s shy at first and prefers to spend most of her day tucked under the bed, her cosy little sanctuary, but once she trusts you, she reveals her soft, affectionate side.

She’s not food‑motivated and she’s definitely not a lap cat, but she loves being near her person – quietly settling beside you and enjoying the comfort of your presence. Her favourite time of day is the early morning, when she emerges for soft pats, head boops, a snuggle and quiet companionship.

Pixie can be wary of unfamiliar noises of people outside, so she’ll thrive in a peaceful, predictable home with humans who understand that confidence takes time. With patience, kindness, and a calm environment, Pixie will reward her family with gentle affection and the sweetest moments of trust.

If you’re looking for a quiet companion who blossoms at her own pace and loves in her own soft way, Pixie might be your perfect match.

While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Royal Canin, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Please Note:

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
