Bran is a sensitive, gentle soul who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. While he’s still very anxious, he has made beautiful progress in foster care and continues to grow in confidence every day with patience, routine, and love.

We don’t know much about Bran’s life before he came into care, but it’s clear that he’s still figuring out how to “cat.” Normal cat behaviours like playing don’t always come naturally to him yet – but he’s getting a lot better, and that’s part of what makes him so special 💙

One thing Bran has mastered, though, is biscuit-making: he is a professional biscuit maker and an amateur cat. He will happily make biscuits on anything – including you and even the floor – which often makes him look like he’s adorably marching in place.

💕 Bran’s Personality
• A little nervous but incredibly sweet
• Loves pats and chirping at humans
• Quiet, gentle, sweet and observant
• Shows positive interest in other cats
• While Bran isn’t confident with play on his own, he has blossomed while watching a young kitten in foster care. Seeing another cat play has helped him learn and build confidence in something that comes so naturally to most cats, and it’s been so lovely to watch him come out of his shell bit by bit 🐾

✨ Bran’s Special Requests
• Would suit an experienced cat owner that can be very patient with him
• Enjoys being gently patted while eating – it helps him feel safe
• Could benefit from living with another young cat or kitten to guide him and encourage play
• Calming cat music 🎶, Cat TV 📺, and calming pheromones have helped him come out of his shell in foster care and would be best continued in his forever home
• Multiple small, enclosed hiding spots or pods where he can retreat when life feels overwhelming 🐱

Bran is looking for a calm, predictable environment where he can truly relax and feel safe
• A quiet household with a regular routine
• Lots of patience and understanding
• Too anxious for children and frequent sporadic visitors
• Bran could have a dog in the household. He has become accustomed to a small dog in foster, a large breed may also be suitable if they’re very gentle and don’t bark too much

Bran may take time, but the rewards of earning his trust are huge. He’s a beautiful boy who wants affection, safety, and companionship – he just needs someone willing to go at his pace. With the right home, Bran has so much potential to grow into a confident, happy young cat 💫
