Hi, my name is Oreo!

I have been waiting 4 days for a home

Learn more about Oreo

Meet Oreo πŸ–€πŸ€ – a gentle, affectionate boy with a heart as sweet as his name.
Oreo is a sensitive soul who may be a little shy and reserved when first settling into a new home. He prefers to take his time getting to know new people and environments, but with patience and a calm approach, he slowly begins to show his true personality. Once you’ve gained his trust, Oreo is incredibly loving and enjoys quiet companionship.
When Oreo is feeling comfortable, he becomes a big fan of affection – especially chin scratches, which often lead to happy bum raises as his way of asking for more. One of the easiest ways to win Oreo over is through food; he is a self-confessed foodie and happily bonds over treats and mealtimes.
Oreo would be best suited to a home with older children aged 5+ who understand how to interact gently and respectfully with cats. He would not cope well in a home with dogs, as he prefers a peaceful environment where he feels safe. Oreo could potentially live with another cat, provided introductions are done slowly and carefully to allow him time to adjust and build confidence.
In the right home, with people who are willing to let him settle at his own pace, Oreo will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who loves attention, routine, and a few extra treats along the way. If you’re looking for a sweet boy to build a special bond with, Oreo could be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾

While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Royal Canin, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
