Ruby is a sweet girl with an independent streak who is now ready to find her forever family. She would be best suited to a home with Shar Pei experience, where her unique personality will be understood and appreciated.

Ruby is looking for a calm and laid-back lifestyle with daily walks, plenty of love, and a cozy spot inside where she can be part of the family. Secure fencing is a must to keep her safe, and she’ll thrive as the only dog in her household.

Because she can be unsure with too much hands-on attention, Ruby would do best in a home with older children (10+) who can respect her boundaries. She’s not suited to off-lead areas or dog parks, but with her people by her side, she’ll be perfectly content exploring the world on walks and enjoying quiet companionship at home.

Ruby is waiting for a patient and loving family who will embrace her for the wonderful, loyal companion she is. Could that be you?

Ruby is currently undergoing Heartworm treatment ALWQ will help with care and our staff will support you through that process.
