Meet Elena, our beautiful Staffy sweetheart with the softest soul. 💕
Elena can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with some patience, gentle reassurance and a pocketful of tasty treats, you will soon see her affectionate nature. She’s very food-motivated and loves being with her humans, which makes her a natural candidate for reward-based training. ✨
At the moment, Elena is on the road to recovery as she undergoes treatment for Heartworm. While she heals, she’ll need to be the only pet at home so she can stay calm and relaxed. Once she’s fully recovered, she’ll be able to enjoy the company of a doggy friend or regular play dates, as she truly is wonderful with other dogs. 🐶
In the meantime, Elena would love fun food puzzles, scent games and other calm enrichment activities to keep her clever brain busy while her body rests. With time, love and care, Elena will blossom into a loyal and loving companion who’s ready to share her heart with her forever family. 🏡
