Hi, my name is Skippy!

I have been waiting 6 days for a home

Learn more about Skippy

Skippy is a friendly, gentle boy with a heart of gold who’s ready to find a home to call his own. Like most greyhounds, Skippy is more than happy to leave the racing life behind and embrace the comforts of family living – soft beds, cozy naps, and endless love included!

He’s looking for a home where he can be part of the family indoors, with a secure yard that’s big enough for a good zoomie or two before lounging the day away. Skippy would prefer a household without pocket pets, but he promises to fill your home with affection, loyalty, and plenty of greyhound charm.

If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with soulful eyes and a gentle spirit, Skippy might just be your perfect match! πŸ’›

Skippy has a specialised adoption process, our staff are here to help so come on down and say hello today.

While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Savour Life, who are generous partners of AWLQ!

Please Note:

Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal's profile.

This website is live and updates frequently. To check if an animal is available, please check their adoption profile. If it is active and hasn't been marked as 'adopted', the animal is still here.

Please be aware there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location, the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted, or another party might be going through the adoption process.
