Morty is a beautiful 1½-year-old Wolfhound cross with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He is a very sweet, snuggly boy who adores human companionship and enjoys being close to his people as much as possible.
Morty would be happy to share his home with another friendly, playful dog following a successful meet and greet. He may also live with children, with a meet and greet recommended-ideally kids aged 10 years and older-as he is a big boy who can sometimes forget his size. Morty is calm and confident around livestock, remaining unphased by cattle and horses, and he has shown himself to be social with cats.
A home with secure fencing is essential. Morty would thrive in a home that offers both indoor and outdoor access, as he loves moving between spaces and being wherever his people are.
On lead, Morty is easy to handle and generally relaxed, though he can become a little excited when he sees other dogs-something that can be managed with continued guidance and positive experiences.
If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate companion who enjoys cuddles and being part of the family, Morty could be the perfect match.
