Meet Chook Chook – A Sweet, Social Silky Looking for Home 🐓❤️
Chook Chook is a lovely Chinese Silky hen with a gentle nature and a quiet charm. She once had a family who loved her dearly, but sadly, they passed away about a year ago. Since then, she’s been waiting patiently for a second chance at a forever home.
She’s an independent girl who enjoys doing her own thing around the yard – unbothered by dogs, and even friendly with them! She’s known to share a bed and take little strolls with the resident border collie, forming sweet little bonds with both animals and humans alike.
Chook Chook is also surprisingly social. She’ll happily come inside and join you in the lounge room, content to just be part of the family’s daily rhythm. She’s not demanding, but she does enjoy company.
Chook Chook would thrive in a home with a bit of outdoor space, a kind heart, and perhaps even a doggy companion. She’s the perfect mix of calm, curious, and companionable.
