Hi, my name is Hayden and I had a rough start to life being born on the streets. I found myself at the AWLQ shelter without my Mum or my littermates but was kindly taken in by my foster Mum who introduced me to a friend who found herself alone at the shelter too. We were both only very young but together we became the best of friends and as she is a week older than me, she taught me how to have fun and how to behave. She helped to bring out my loving and playful side.

The month I spent with my ‘sister’ in foster taught me that humans can be kind and caring and while I’m still learning, I know a loving family will help me to trust again. I’m not that fond of being picked up but adore pats all the way down my back, cheek pats and kisses and will purr with joy. I am very shy when first meeting but entertain me with toys and chasing games and you will win me over very quickly. I would prefer slightly old children who will appreciate my need for slow interactions, and I would benefit from a quieter environment. After spending my first few weeks on the streets, I choose now only to be indoors where I can feel safe.

I have so much to offer, come in to meet me today.

While I'm awaiting my forever home, I'm being fed Royal Canin, who are generous partners of AWLQ!
